Fincumet is a family-owned company established in 1992. The company collects, processes and sells metal products. It has a processing site in Ikaalinen and collection sites in Helsinki and Jyväskylä. They collect scrap metal from large and small industrial clients, demolition companies, private persons and other metal collectors. Fincumet sells processed metals to its customers in Europe and Asia.

The CEO of Fincumet, Samuli Järvensivu, is really satisfied with the result that the more than 25 year old family-owned business has found a new home with Fortum. The new owner makes it possible to take the current business to a new level. The sales process, organized by Translink, was praised by Mr. Järvensivu: “The co-operation with Translink went smoothly. The way how Translink works is exceptionally energetic and fresh. Translink’s team didn’t freeze even in the tightest situations but continued determined moving towards the goal. I was pleasantly surprised by the extent and clarity of the analysis and other materials produced during the process. It was also a surprise how well and how fast the team was able to understand the cornerstones of our business. Many thanks to the team. I can recommend Translink 5/5.”
