Deger Becer, Partner
Deger, Partner of Anafina Capital Partners in Turkey is responsible for deal origination, structuring, and execution. He has gained particular expertise delivering EBITDA and capital performance in complex private equity, buy-outs, carve-outs and M&A integrations in the US, Eastern Europe and Turkey. In addition, Deger has close to 15 years of strategy and management consulting role with GE, PwC, and Merck & Co. in the US, EU, and Turkey. Deger is a GE certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds an MBA from Cornell University and graduate and undergraduate degrees from Sam Houston State University and Bogazici University.
Eser Becer, Partner
Eser has more than eighteen years of extensive experience working with clients on mergers and acquisitions, financial structuring, turnaround management, large scale transformation, business process optimization and implementation. Prior to joining Anafina Capital Partners, Eser held the General Manager role with a USD 20 million/year firm in Istanbul, Turkey where he led the turnaround management followed by divestiture of the business. In addition he has over 10 years of management consulting experience in the U.S.A. with Booz Allen Hamilton (now PwC) and General Electric. Eser holds an MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas, MSc degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and BSc degree from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Ramazan Arslan, Partner
Ramazan has extensive experience both as a lawyer and strategic advisor in investment banking and specialist assignments in various industries. He has advised numerous companies on M&As, restructurings, IPO and other strategic transaction. For more than fifteen years, he has been lead counsel on M&A transactions, company turnarounds, IPOs, privatizations, valuations and strategic consulting in Turkey as well as neighboring countries. Ramazan’s corporate finance experience gives him a unique perspective on lead advisory, project management and deal structuring. Ramazan graduated from the Faculty of Law, Istanbul University, in 2000. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law in the United States.
