Translink Corporate Finance announces the sale of 37% of East.dk ApS to Industri Udvikling IV K/S.
Industri Udvikling IV K/S has acquired part of East.dk ApS, why they now own the company together with the original owners. The company was established in 2007.
The company designs and produces women’s wear targeted at Danish and international brands, who supplements their own collection with styles from East.dk ApS. East.dk ApS is notably strong in designs, and has a competitive advantage in their business model, being able to present 50-60 styles to customers each week with a 4-5 weeks delivery time.
The customers consist of 80 distinctive brands located in Northern Europe, mainly in Denmark but also Netherlands, Germany, UK and Sweden.
The investment derives out of an aspiration from the original owners of wanting to embody an external partner in the further operations and pursuit of new markets.
As the investor is a private equity fund, the industry involved suffice to the clothing industry. Both of the companies are located in Denmark. East.dk ApS further owns a production facility in China and two sales offices in Germany supporting the sales in the EU. In the UK the company has hired a sales agent.
