The reasons for the owner(s) to divest has often been that the companies themselves did not have the strength nor the financial muscles to penetrate a global market. In many of the processes where Translink Corporate Finance has participated, the companies were sold to larger industry players to financial investors with financial resources to back the growth potential of the company.
In general, the price level for companies in the Healthcare sector is relatively high. The products often generate high contribution margins, the market potential is often significant, and the markets are often less vulnerable to short-term market fluctuations.
